What's on at Bridge House?

FRIDAY 26th NOVEMBER - SUNDAY 23rd DECEMBER - PLAID TIDINGS

DON'T MISS OUT ON WHAT PROMISES TO BE A WONDERFUL NIGHT OF FESTIVE FUN.

Picture this: February 24th February 1964 – history was made when The Beatles made their first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. Also that night a hotly tipped for the top band the “The Plaids” were on their way to the biggest gig of their careers. Sadly the forces to be made sure they would never make that engagement when their car collided with a school bus, the passengers of the bus survived, sadly the Plaids did not.

However, fast forward to a chilly Winter evening, where through a disturbance in the cosmos the Plaids are sent back on Earth on a mission, one that - if successfully completed - will allow them to know why they were returned to Earth and allow them final rest.

Their mission is to perform the ultimate TV Christmas Special, the one they spoke endlessly about but never were able to achieve whilst alive.
So join Frankie, Sparky, Smudge and Jinx on their quest in bringing Christmas cheer to the many by the retelling of stories from their Christmases past along with a cavalcade of beautiful, harmonized classic 60’s numbers alongside many truly unforgettable renditions of the world’s favourite Christmas songs.

Plaid Tidings, is a ‘Heaven Sent’ festive treat which is fantastically funny, beautifully sung (this really is a collision of Jersey Boys and Christmas) and it takes the audience on a journey to a more innocent time, a time when Christmas was about family, friendship and good will.

Produced in house by Bridge House Productions SE20, whose previous work was named “Best Festive Show in the UK”
